Rossana Torres e Ana Eliseu da associação Os Filhos de Lumière apresentaram o projecto de educação ao cinema CinEd no Cine Teatro Marques Duque em Mértola. Esta comunicação estava inserida nos encontros sobre educação organizada pela Câmara Municipal de Mértola.

CinEd é um projecto de cooperação europeia dedicado à transmissão do cinema para reflectir sobre o mundo. Elaborado a partir de uma colecção de filmes (por agora), de Espanha, Portugal, Itália, Roménia, Bulgária, República Checa, Finlândia e França e o seu objectivo é dar a descobrir a riqueza do cinema europeu aos jovens de várias faixas etárias, seja no âmbito escolar ou fora da escola.

Este projecto é coordenado pelo Instituto Francês, com o apoio pedagógico da Cinemateca Francesa através do programa internacional (Cinéma, Cem anos de Juventude) e tem o apoio financeiro da Europa Criativa, do programa MEDIA – Desenvolvimento de Audiências. Em Portugal, o projecto é da responsabilidade da associação Os Filhos de Lumière.
