Convidados pelo departamento Animation Socio-Culturelle e Education Permanente (ASCEP) do Institut des Hautes Études des Comunications Sociales (IHECS), em Bruxelas, os cineastas Teresa Garcia e Pierre-Marie Goulet orientaram de 21 a 25 de Novembro de 2013 uma oficina Filmar com os estudantes du curso "Médias, création et émancipation" deste Instituto Superior e partilharam a sua experiência de sensibilização ao cinema na Associação Os Filhos de Lumière, desde 2000. Depois de ver e analisar em conjunto numa primeira fase alguns filmes curtos da história do cinema - na Cinematek (Cinémathèque Royale de Belgique) - cada estudante realizou um "plano Lumière" e trabalhou em seguida uma ideia para um filme colectivo. Seguiu-se a preparação, rodagem e montagem do filme-ensaio "Desencontro". Este oficina, realizada a convite de Talheh Daryanavard (IHECS) e Freddy Malonda (SCC da Cinematek), no seguimento do Seminário realizado em Novembro de 2012 sobre a experiência de cinema levada a cabo pela associação Os Filhos de Lumière desde o ano 2000, foi uma parceria entre o IHECS, o Service de Culture cinématographique asbl, a Cinematek e Os Filhos de Lumière.
